Part-time 10-15 hours/week
Location: Dover
Interdisciplinary Outpatient clinic with a unique focus on Concussion and Acquired Brain Injuries seeking an Occupational Therapist who is interested in and wants to significantly contribute to an expanding team invested in delivering excellent patient care to the adult neurological population. The OTR must be able to provide services across the adult lifespan and work in an outpatient setting.
Expectations
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure in Delaware
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Conduct evaluations and document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge plans in compliance with professional standards
- Treating patients on functional skill development, sensory integration, vestibular rehabilitation, Buffalo treadmill protocol, autonomic rehabilitation principles
- Strong interest in Concussion management and TBI preferred
- Working with an interdisciplinary team of Physiatrist, Nurse practitioners, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologists, Chiropractic services and Psychologists.
- Partner with healthcare and administrative staff to create a patient-centered, inviting, and supportive environment for patients and families.

Mondays evening, Fridays afternoon/evenings, Saturdays
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
- Certification obtained from The National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Experience supervising COTA team members
Experience
- 1-2 Years of Clinical Experience (Required)
- Experience working with adult-neuro based diagnoses
License/Certification
- Delaware State License (Required)
