Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who is passionate about contributing to a growing team focused on delivering excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will provide outpatient services to adolescents and adults (18+) and will manage a range of conditions, including but not limited to: Concussion, TBI, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Headaches, Musculoskeletal Pain, Spasticity and Dystonia, Botulinum toxin injections, and Baclofen Pump management.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Patient Assessment and Diagnosis

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and neurological evaluations.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging to determine accurate diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.

2. Treatment and Intervention

  • Prescribe and manage medications and therapies.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections and wound care.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.
  • Educate patients on medications, rehab techniques, and lifestyle changes.

3. Collaborative Care

  • Work with a multidisciplinary team including PT, OT, SLP, psychology, and neuropsychology professionals.
  • Participate in team meetings to coordinate care.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and caregivers.

4. Documentation and Recordkeeping

  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality and consent regulations.
  • Manage billing and coding tasks as required.

5. Professional Development

  • Stay up-to-date with neuro-rehab advancements and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in Delaware.
  • 1–2 years of experience in neurology, rehab, or related field preferred (motivated new grads also considered).
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Interest or proficiency in therapeutic injections (e.g., Botox for migraine, joint injections).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • EMR proficiency and strong organizational skills.

Compensation

Pay: $110,000–$140,000/year, with additional compensation based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Schedule: Monday to Friday
